MCPA Board of Directors needs nominations!

The MCPA’ s board has open positions! And we need YOU or your nominee! It’s a great way to network and also looks mighty impressive on your resume. I personally have thoroughly enjoyed the past four years that I’ve sat on the Board.

We are seeking to appoint new members as our veteran board members retire to ensure we have the capacity and skills to oversee the Association. Board members are expected to attend all board meetings, and also to participate in the life of the organization between board meetings including the CLE meetings and the various events.

The MCPA Board of Directors consists of nine members that serve for a two year term. The Board’s activities are determined by the powers, duties, and responsibilities delegated to it which are detailed in the bylaws (see first page of the website for our bylaws.)

The MCPA Board of Directors holds monthly meetings usually during the first week of each month with the summers off. All are welcome to attend. If you’ve ever wondered what the MCPA Board is doing on behalf of all of its members, attend one of these meetings. For information regarding where the next meeting will be held in September, please contact any of the Officers.
